Founded by Iain and Karen, a dynamic duo with a passion for chic and quirky designs, our story began nearly 30 years ago in Nottingham. United by their love for unique aesthetics, they embarked on a journey that transformed their lives and homes.

In 2014, Iain and Karen decided to leave the hustle and bustle of city life behind, seeking the tranquillity of the Nottinghamshire countryside. This change of pace inspired them to channel their love for design into a new venture, and in 2017, Margo & Plum was born.

Our mission is simple, to curate distinctive pieces that transform any space into a stylish haven. With Karen’s flair for modern aesthetics and Iain’s expertise in interior design and entrepreneurial spirit, they’ve created a collection that reflects their unique taste and commitment to quality.

Our carefully selected items are designed to bring charm and personality to homes everywhere. From our first shop to our thriving online store, our journey has been driven by a love for design and a dedication to providing luxury at affordable prices.

Today, Margo & Plum has blossomed beyond our wildest expectations. As a well-established and market-leading brand, we’ve grown to include a team of 21 people, two warehouses, a showroom, a bustling Coffee House, widely read blogs, and a vibrant social media presence with 34k followers. Our new website for 2024 marks another exciting chapter in our story.

We are more than just a business; we are a family-run enterprise that believes in giving back to our community. With your support, we contribute to local charities, including hospices, Maggies Cancer Care, food banks and children’s community projects. We also proudly support The Cybersmile Foundation, promoting digital wellbeing and tackling online bullying and abuse.
